Republican Round Up
Sunflower Republican Club President, Doris Riley, welcomed elected officials, honored guests, candidates and guests to the event. The purpose of the Sunflower Club is to inform and educate on current issues of concern. We have learned that elections do matter. We believe in the basic principles of smaller government, lower taxes and personal responsibility. We do not endorse any candidate.
The Sunflower Republican Club was honored to have so many in attendance so everyone could see them and hear them unfiltered by the media. Candidates for statewide offices were presented first, then 3rd District candidates, Johnson County candidates and last, but not least, elected officials. Due to time constraints question and answers were not entertained. Candidates were available to meet and greet before and after the program.
